News Years Resolutions ?…..we don't need no stinkin' resolutions. I never make new year's resolutions. Why? Because I like myself the way I am. I try to lead a God led life. I try to be kind to strangers and I treat my wife like the jewel that she is. Why should I want to change. Should I make a resolution to give less to my church or to charity? I think not. Should I resolve to be politically correct in all my sermons? I think not because somethime there are things that NEED saying, even from the pulpit. Should I resolve to hate homosexuals? No…..i still love them because they are still God's children, but I will resolve to hate their way of life because it says in my Bible that this is "An abomination in the eyes of the Lord". It says in MY bible to "hate the sin, but love the sinner". Resolutions ? I think not

Hey, Rev. How about getting a few more smarts and a few less dumbs? I know you are not God ('cuz I am). So Lad, cheer up! You can improve. Get a little more education. Trim back those hedges of ignorance. Try to expand your endearing, but somewhat limited care and understanding beyond yourself and your rather narrow, parochial base.

Incidentally, good books have been written in the last 2,000 years. The bible was great stuff back when. Time to move and move up towards the LIGHT!

Et cum spiritu tuo….

Hey rev, I have a new years resolution for you. How about acting a little more like a servant and a little less like a pharisee. I don't know if you intended it, but you're coming off quite holier than thou.
