Revisiting ObamaCare

Today, the Supreme Court begins three days of oral arguments to decide, once and for all, if President Obama’s health care reform law is constitutional.

Since its passage in 2010 on strict party lines, all Republicans have talked about is repealing ObamaCare. Every GOP Presidential candidate has made it a central plank of their campaign (they’re a little more vague about what they’d replace it with).

Obviously, cartoonists have been weighing in on health care reform for years. Here are some relevant cartoons I plucked from our archives…

Leave it to the Tom Henderson insurance patsies of the world, who benefit immensely from the death and suffering of millions,to talk down the superior systems in the rest of the world. He doesn't mention(neither does Mr Ruff)the hundreds of millions sucked away from healthcare premiums for bribing and lobbying crooked politicians(money which,in other countries,is used for treatment and curing the sick, instead of preserving the cash cow for billionaires and their political puppets). We pay triple and have nearly 50,000,000
people without.Mr Henderson must be a "good Christian'.It's the only explanation.Must be fun going to work with those Satanic horns on your head every day.Distorting the facts and kissing billionaire @sses for a living.Suck on !! Mr Henderson!! Suck on!!

AS long as people like Mr Henderson-and the "insurance denial"cutthroats are in charge, there is no health care. The whole world has heathcare for cure.We have healthcare to create wealth.Big difference pal! Insurance makes the "pink slime"in ground beef look like gold.

Oh,and one more thing Mr "Corporate"Henderson.Take Thomas Jefferson off of your post.Your GOP cohorts here in Texas REMOVED him from school history texts and replaced him with Calvin.Put your buddies' hero Calvin up there.

In countries with universal care,The Tom Hendersons would be unemployed and selling pencils on street corners so they could buy their Fascist Corporatist uniforms.Case closed.Fortunately for them-and unlike in the USA-they would STILL have healthcare AND lower taxes.

jeff… get a Facebook account and get into the discussion…. your talking to yourself.

Has one judge appointed by a Republican upheld Obamacare? Has one Dem-appointed judge rejected it?

I'm just askin'.

'cause if it's partisan in the courts, too, perhaps it would actually be good for all of us. It's had to believe Congress, no matter which party is incharge, would ever do that!
