What Every Woman Should Know

Check out my daughter Susie’s newest graphic report about the war that’s being waged against women’s health in the United States.

Here’s what my daughter Susie has to say about her newest graphic report for the Cartoon Movement about the war that’s being waged against women’s health in the United States.

Some issues are straight forward and can be elegantly distilled into single panel editorial cartoons. Some are full of gray areas and require some deeper exploration. I think this story and the issue of faith-based crisis pregnancy centers in general falls into the latter category. They may do a great deal of good for some women, but at the same time they’re also standing in the way of legal choices for many women. This isn’t just about abortion! These centers provide misleading and even false information to women, pregnant or not, regarding contraception and basic reproductive health issues — and from people who are not licensed medial professionals, or even licensed counselors. To find this happening in what most would consider the liberal playground of San Francisco was surprising, and deserved further investigation.

“Women’s health” is a deceptive euphemism for the systematic murder of unborn babies. God bless those who attack such a vile practice.

The true villains are those who are attacking crisis pregnancy centers and other pro-life efforts to reduce the slaughter of children. Sadly, there is a lot of money to be made in the abortion industry and plenty of brainwashed feminists who will gladly play the role of useful idiot to support this ghoulish and macabre sacrament of child murder.

I think that the article is also about false advertising, misleading people and being timely with the facts.  In this Susie Cagle makes an excellent point and her illustrations serve to drive that point home.

Mmmm, we sure do love eating those babies that aren’t babies yet. And we’re coming for you next! WOOOoOoOOooOO~!

When I first saw this comic, I scratched my head and tried to figure out what is was all about about and where abortion or women’s health comes to play. And then I realized that you had to click on it and it becomes an 18 page comic/novella. Confusion passed?….nope.

The confusion only intensified as I read page after page with decent graphics, but a very confusing story line/premise. I think the author dives into her work with the presumption that her readers already have a background in what she is arguing and what the issues are. I guess what I want to know is…What the heck is she arguing for/against. I consider myself a bright fellow, but I can’t make heads or tails over this. WHO is First Resort and what are they doing that welcomes the criticisms of the author and apparently the SF government?

Too many “shoulds” in this cartoon–the cartoonist obviously wants even more govt regulation on businesses and charities.  How about this: caveat emptor?  Pretty much sums it up.  Heartless?  No.  What’s heartless is telling people that what one thinks and feels is what’s best for all.  And that is the definition of narrow-mindedness posing as empathy.

Crisis pregnancy centers are clear and up-front in that they will not do/refer people for abortions. They do not stop people from doing them, but they try to provide the supporting framework that many families and boyfriends don’t, encouraging a woman to have an abortion.

So why does it seem okay to you for Planned Parenthood to counsel women to have abortions without presenting them all the facts, but it’s not okay for another clinic to counsel women regarding the dangers of abortion and reasons to keep their babies? You are anti-woman, if you ask me!
