Amy Winehouse Cartoons

Take a look back at the career of Amy Winehouse in our new cartoon slideshow featuring the British singer.

Amy Winehouse, the British singer who was elevated into stardom by her iconic single “Rehab”, was found dead in her London apartment last Saturday of yet-undetermined causes. She was 27 years old, and joins a long list of music greats, from Jimi Hendrix to Janis Joplin, who never made it to their 28th birthday.

Pedronavaja08, you said that, ‘she was the was the queen of soul’. In her own word, “NO,” the real Queen of Soul was, IS and will always be the ‘Queen of Soul’ ARETHA LOUISE FRANKLIN.

I think that Mike Lester/ Rome News Tribune hit the nail on the head when he used her own lyrics ‘…they tried to make me go to rehab and I said…’. The next panel showed a grave headstone for ‘AMY WINEHOUSE’. If she did not care enough for herself – even though you say she had talent – why should she be worshiped and idolized as if she walked on water…when she couldn’t keep her head above water.

not even close…….no soul at all……she killed her soul years before she killed herself….God Bless her…….. just imagine what she could have been……
