Tjebbe Van Tijen Archetypical cartoon representation of a dictator drawing or mopping up the map of his country in blood… but such a depiction is historically DISHONEST because 'how come' that Gaddafi reign lasted over 40 years? There is and must have been mass compliance with the rule by him and his wide circle of associates. Once again 'voluntary servitude' as at the basis of regimes always… of course there is repression also, but once again there must have been a certain amount of 'consent' with such repression, otherwise the "brave" Libyan people would have revolted decades ago already.
