This gag is stolen from a fourteen year old cartoon by the great, retired, Canadian editorial cartoonist, Thomas “Tab” Boldt, who used the gag when there was a transition in government in Ottawa.

We used to syndicate Tab.

I miss Tab.

I’ve tried to talk him into coming back, with no luck – at least not yet.
