Other popular cartoons this week touched on the continued high cost of food, turmoil in the banking industry, and an awkward moment when a conservative pundit couldn’t define the term “woke.”

Readers enjoy holiday cartoons, so it’s no surprise Groundhog Day cartoons were popular among editors this week.

But the most reprinted cartoon this week was a clever spoof of Indiana Jones by Rick McKee, featuring the adventuring archeologist risking it all for an expensive treasure – a bunch of eggs

EASTER EXTRAVAGANZA: Top Ten Cartoons of the Week!

Easter was certainly on the minds of editors across the country this week, with four of our top ten most reprinted cartoons giving a nod to the religious holiday. Generally, editors and readers seem to enjoy holiday cartoons, while cartoonists typically hate drawing them.

Inflation was also a big story last week, with prices on just about everything continuing to rise. And editors remain uninterested in running cartoons about the war in Ukraine.

And here are the Top Ten …

Bruce Plante took the #1 most reprinted spot, by a wide margin.

John Darkow took second place with his first of two in the Top Ten.

Dave Granlund took third place.

Dave Granlund took 4th place too!

Dick Wright claims the five-spot.

#6

Dave Whamond came in sixth.

#7

John Darkow nabs seventh place with his second cartoon in the Top Ten.

Rick McKee took 8th place.

#9

Jeff Koterba takes 9th place.

Dave Granlund wraps it up at number ten with his third cartoon in the Top Ten.
