The conservative scramble to find a buzz word like "Obama's Katrina" for this corporate disaster isn't even funny. It's just pathetic.

It's amazing! Obama is the reason the economy sucks because WE all know it was wonderful the day before HE took office. Although I'm not sure they even really realize how pathetic this victim mentality comes across. Have they blamed him for the flooding in TN yet?

hmmm, nothing to do with the right wing media trying to place the blame away from the holy BP. Moses in a hand basket, it's BP's fault. Aaand they're the billionaires now, they should pay! I'm not from the US so don;t know how this is reported over there but this is when your government should step in and make the companies responsible, make them pay.
The Katrina thing … i don;t get it, Katrina was a natural disaster , like Haiti, NATURAL DISASTERS. Unlike the drilling of the earth for bloody oil by stupid people.
Prayers to all for a speedy recovery form this disaster.

Do a cartoon about BP Daryl. They fuck us like the catholics fuck choir boys. Where's your controversy now?

@C M Carter: Hurricane Katrina itself was natural, but the disaster that followed was not so much. Levees that should have withstood the hurricane failed, due to all kinds of BS, politics, incompetence, etc. Epic gov't's f-ups, delayed response to the flooding, deaths, looting, etc.

Anyway, I agree that BP's oil spill is not a natural disaster, and also don't see how Obama's spill response can even be compared to Bush's Katrina response. Apples and orangutans. BP seems to be doing alright on the cleanup (for now…), but these trillionaires should be, and without complaint. I can only hope something good can come of this, either legislation (ha!) and/or the industry helping itself (…) after seeing the costs of this mess.
