Welcome Back, Bill Schorr!

It wasn’t long ago that I was writing about Bill Schorr retiring from editorial cartooning.  I’m pleased to announce that Bill is coming back and will be drawing political cartoons that we will syndicate here at Cagle Cartoons, Inc. Bill worked as a staff cartoonist for the New York Daily News, The Kansas City Star and The Los Angeles Herald-Examiner. He one of the best guys out there.  See an archive of Bill’s cartoons here, and his most recent cartoon below.

–And here’s a nice article from E&P about Bill’s return. To subscribe to our package and Bill’s cartoons, visit us at Caglecartoons.com and email [email protected]

This initiative is further evidence for the good use of developing cooperatives for political and other newspaper cartoonists. I don't care about what label people put on cooperatives. Cooperatives do not belong to any ideology, they are just human and always been there among human communities. Especially during hard times. Welcome to Bill Schorr and hopefully welcome to a new era of human solidarity and cooperation instead of bank-robbing egotism : )

Bill Schorr has always been one of the best! It was a sad day when he retired – and it's GREAT news to see that he's back!

One of the best, and , good to see the starkness of black and white pics, allowing the artists'graphic ability to shine through without all the fudging that so often accompanies colour cartoons. I still think there is too much emphasis on colour and that black and white has more punch.
